Website Dilemma, Where Am I Taking This?

woman pondering over solutions and work

As far as this website is concerned, I am determined to keep it running. I’ve owned so many domain names in the past that I know it’s kinda a hassle when it expires and someone else grabs it.

So, I am in the middle of working things out in my head – do I want to keep investing in it and keep it. The thing with WordPress is that it charges for everything and when you’re a personal user like me who writes and market for a living, we don’t have the time, money and resources to tap into the full potential of WordPress unless we pay big bucks for it.

With some of its plans, they don’t have SEO features which means I don’t have the capacity to change a lot of things I wish to change. Which sucks.

So, for now, I’ll keep it running because it’s my little cyber baby and I’ll do what I can to keep it alive and update it as regularly as I can.

Nothing much changed so far but I am trying to redirect my domain name to the free WordPress plan for now. I’ll see what I want to do with this and how far I want to take it. My purpose for this website is not for it to make me money or anything massive like that. It’s for experimentation, spreading of messages, working on new stuff and if WordPress is not helping me on this, then….no matter how close to the heart the company is to me (I’ve used WordPress since forever), a goodbye seems to be on the cards.

Well, that’s my thought for the day, anyway.

Have a splendid, Friday, people of the world. Marketing is an ever-changing thing and keep thinking outside of the box to find ways that work for your business and personal missions and visions.
